Los Angeles, California Jul 18, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Bohemia Afterdark today announced the release of the 500th episode of its eponymous pioneering music television show. This major milestone comes as the company continues to reinvent itself on its four-decade long journey to support and celebrate emerging and underground music artists. You can watch the 500th episode here: www.bvmtv.com.

Were incredibly proud to be releasing our 500th episode today, said Jeff Crawford, Founder and unofficial video jockey at Bohemia Afterdark. Bohemia Afterdark is a work of love that started 40 years ago out of a small studio in Phoenix, AZ. From post-punk to the birth of rap, the rise of grunge, and the countless so-called deaths of rock, were proud to still be here, supporting the emerging artists that create and shape such a massively important part of our culture.

This news comes in the wake of several recent business initiatives that further strengthen the companys position in the world of underground music, while maintaining loyalty to its long-standing fanbase and respecting its rich history, including:

  • The wrapping of production on an as-yet unnamed documentary film highlighting the role of musical artists, amongst others, in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in America.
  • The release of a tribute album to the recently passed local Phoenix, AZ punk-rock legend Eddy Detroit.
  • The hiring of Nick Mayberry as Business Manager to spearhead the companys new business initiatives.

I feel lucky to have met Bohemia Afterdark founders Jeff and Jennifer when I did, said Nick Mayberry, Business Manager at Bohemia Afterdark. Over the past forty years the business has developed some unbelievably unique and powerful IP that we all look forward to sharing with the world as we expand our ventures from music videos into digital television, a record label, and even film.
