London, United Kingdom Oct 20, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Strike Back Self Defence, the worlds largest all-female self-defense school with instructors across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the Middle East, is expanding its mission to the USA, and work starts in Detroit, Michigan this October.

With statistics showing that 1 in 3 women in the U.S. will experience some form of violence in their lifetime*, Strike Back Self Defence is determined to change the safety narrative.

Gulshen Bano, founder and CEO of Strike Back Self Defence and an experienced self-defense expert, will be hosting a FREE self-defense workshop open to all women in the Michigan area, offering critical, life-saving skills. The event will take place at Hayes Social on Monday October 28 from 6 pm to 8 pm, where attendees will learn practical techniques to protect themselves from threats and violence, taught by trained female instructors who understand what it means to feel vulnerable, and more importantly, how to feel empowered.

On Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30, the team will run an accredited Instructor Program, designed for personal trainers, gym staff, and community leaders who want to teach self-defense in their neighborhoods. This initiative not only aims to make communities safer, but also provides participants with the opportunity to generate additional income while making a real impact.

Gulshen Bano, says, Every woman deserves the right to live and travel freely, without the fear of harassment or violence, and our mission is to make this a reality on a global scale. Through our workshops and training, women are giving other women the tools and confidence to protect themselves, and others.

She adds, Participants will leave our sessions with practical self-defense skills and a renewed sense of confidence, demonstrating the real power of self-defense in action. This trip marks just the beginning of our journey in the USA, where we aim to build a nationwide network of certified Female Self-Defense Instructors, dedicated to keeping women safe.
